How to use latex in jekyll?

  • gem install kramdown
  • Change the markdown line in _config.yml to markdown: kramdown
  • And add something like
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://cdn.mathjax.org/mathjax/latest/MathJax.js?config=TeX-AMS-MML_HTMLorMML"></script>

to _layouts/default.html. Now you can simply mark any mathematics in your posts with $$
